What is the difference between what's true & what's a good idea?

Ron sez:
For Dan there is no difference.
Pragmatically speaking, the test of the true is verifyability,
repeatability and an economy of explanation.

A good idea has the potential to lead us to the true depending
on how good the idea is, which incidentially shapes how true
it is. ie it's goodness lies in how true it is.

In effect, ideas are made good by their true-ness, how well they
work in the flow of experience.
