Hi Joe

I certainly take the side that thinks we can experience DQ and the unique,
it's a quality after all, if experience is not SQ it is DQ.

I'd suggest that DQ is the basis of all creativity and how all SQ and SQ
levels are able to emerge. I'd also suggest that when anything new
emerges we experience it as DQ, but if it losses its uniqueness and
repeats then it moves from being an experience of DQ and becomes
SQ. All SQ has to start as DQ, it has to emerge as unique and only when
it forms a pattern and repeats can it be experienced as DQ. Lots of DQ,
of course, remains unique, indefinable/incomparable and never emerges
as an SQ pattern.

Do others agree or disagree with this?

IMHO Metaphysics is about existence not agreement.  "Let me count the ways"!
DQ indefinable, SQ definable are metaphysical conceptions of existence.
Consciousness is a lonely place.  Individuality is a lonely place.

DQ is not the one of mathematics.  Metaphysics/Mathematics.  DQ is
indefinable.  Difference/DQ/uniqueness are not synonyms.  Significant does
not modify existential reality as more or less.   Indefinable/definable
DQ/SQ metaphysics.
