I've changed the rear indicator stalks on my Honda XR and taken half the bike apart to get to the relay. Four hours later I put the thing back together and for the first time began to see what Mr Pirsig is on about. The feeling of achieving that relatively simple procedure with no nuts, bolts or washers left over. Is this overly simplistic or am I on the right track?

Hi Marcus
Wonderful of you to join us!

Sounds pretty impressive to me. Tell me, did you sort of lose yourself
in the work? And do you feel you are somehow a better person for it? I
think it is interesting that Robert Pirsig says the motorcycle we are
working on is the self. Did you get that impression too as your work
progressed?

Thanks for sharing,

Dan
