[MD] critical thinking

X-man,

I don't drink, do drugs, smoke, hardly ever swear, and I just gave up drinking coffee.  (I've taken up the British tea-drinking habit instead.)  I'm moving in on perfect!  

As far as the faulty, first premises, there has been so many it's hard to recall.  But most recently starting from the premise that my motivations are based on selfishness comes to mind.  How do you KNOW that?  Not an amiable way to initiate a discussion.
