Case's Coda - Part 4/4
Sometime it is sublime.
I have loved a woman
And we have dreamed together.
I've seen babies born
And held them in my arms.
I've buried friends
And family.
In this life we are suspended like Oz's fragments,
Hanging in the air for a moment in the eye of a storm.
We exists as beings pulled by tides
Of agony and ecstasy; anxiety and hope.
Often we can't tell in our running,
If we are chasing or being chased.
So you can call it DQ or
You can call it irrational,
You can call it the cutting edge or
A dim apprehension.
But whatever tales you hear when calling it by name
If some of them aren't nightmares you're kidding yourself.
The name you link
To what you think
Is paired with what it's not.
But what is not
Cannot be taught
Or broken into pairs.
There are these binaries and they are terrible
They swirl within in you and without you.
Each in its season,
Every step of The Way.
