An immoral action, like degeneracy, is when a lower level morality tries to take priority over a higher level morality.  The code of art is a higher level than inorganic, biological, social and intellectual.  You know this.

And that code of art is that what is good is always going to be better than what is "right". What is intellectually "right"
is not allways whats intellectually "best" thats what intellectual morality is.
 
Pragmatic truth is what is intellectually "best" THIS is the highest moral code. 
It is allways subordinate to the good. 
 
Being subordinate it is not degenerate nor immoral therefore niether is Pragmatic truth.
