Red paint for example. The redness is independent from the amount. Redness can be made by other formulas and the amount can be equal to a whats in a bucket of fish.

And that will also be the task for any kind of AI, but how shall three independent parameters be transformed into one similar type of value? AI programmers must understand this.

That was about the first digit, the number 3.

Secondly, about number 2. All the three different dimensions have an up and a "downside", You know very well when you had enough or too much but how do you compare that to when you had the Wrong type of whisky in your drink?

Any chemical reaction depends on the amount of ingredients. To much or to less.

Any chemical reaction is also depending on the Right type of ingredients. Passable or not.

Any chemical reaction is either useful or not. Some can be very harmful to the environment. Now we are using words like Good or Bad.

AI programmers now have at least 6 parameters to use.

For the last digit 7 I recommend reading my book "Money and the Art of Losing Control".

Take care

>> Hello all. I'm a subscriber, but it's been a while since I caught up with this list. So forgive me if this has been discussed before. Briefly, I'm interested in AI (Artificial Intelligence). I don't actually believe we'll be seeing it anytime soon (Minsky' Society of Mind gives me such an impression), but I do think that the hypothetical about how human society would relate to an AI is interesting. Briefly, it occurred to me that according to the MOQ, an AI (depending on it's complexity, but I'm assuming it would be very complex indeed) should most likely not only be accorded the rights we afford to citizens, but added protections as well. Something along the lines of the laws the state uses to protect itself.

>> It also occurred to me that should an AI spring into being, Lila should be one of the first books we ask it to read. Seeing as how Skynet, according to MOQ, shouldn't damage the lower level(s) which created it. Forgive me if this has been previously discussed.
