[MF] the way forward for MoQ discussion lists

Dear Paul,

Interesting suggestion to separate a 'Pirsig'-supportive/supported forum
from a 'Criticism'-forum. Looks like a sq/DQ distinction.
Any content-based distinction will induce discussion about what belongs
where. E.g. if you are too critical about someone else's arguments on the
sq-forum, this will raise discussion whether you don't belong on the other
forum. When you criticize a criticism of Pirsig's version of the MoQ on the
DQ-forum, you can be dismissed with 'Well, this is the CRIT-forum after all;
go to the other forum if you want to stick to Pirsig's version.'
Could a sq/CQ distinction be expressed in the form (whether or not it is
moderated, monitored, on invitation only, bound by rules with sanctions
etc.) rather than the content?

With friendly greetings,

Wim
