Thanks for forwarding Henry Gurr's email message and for the information 
on "Saving the Appearances" by Owen Barfield.
  
I find it fascinating to see the many different applications of the word,
reality.  It means one thing when used by philosophers, something else
when used by theologians and still something else when used by
scientists.  And then there's the word on the street.  And of course
there's every individual's personal reality.
