Aha, I see where this question came from.

The theist thread, and the idea of having a "personality".

Key point about what is quality / consciousness.
I have nothing to add at this point - my views are well expounded for now.

I think the "spirituality" here is that intentional behaviour -
tending one's own garden - etc. (Having a "one's own" to tend. Being a
"one" - a person.)
