I think I said that freedom is not possible without chance, probability, chaos,
unexpected consequences, etc. It is from "chance" that freedom is possible.
I.e., if something has no chance but to do something in a particular way, then
it is not free.

For me it is the opposite.  I value freedom because it allows me to choose
based on what I think are the likely outcomes.
