I'm just getting into this deeply, via Royce's explication of
"Interpretation".  It pertains very much to Pirsig's insight there and when
I've got it under me more firmly, I'll share it.

In simple terms for now, it's not the rituals, its the comparison of rituals
which produce intellectualism.
