split. But Pirsig is not the first to make this spilt by any means.

Thank you for this Krimel. Yes,I have tried to make this exact point on many occassions but it just slides of Bodvar's back. It doesn't really matter what one says to Bodvar, he is very cemented into the SOL/SOM thing and anything and everything that points to the slightest deviation of his conviction is dismissed. Even Mr. Pirsig is dismissed!

I believe Mr. Pirsig talks similarly about the early Greeks in the letter to Paul Turner but we all know how Bodvar regards that one.

To even suggest that the intellectual level comprises one and only one way to wield the analytic knife is preposterous....but to get out of this one Bodvar suggest that it has multiple variations and we should not be fooled!

Sad really.
