No where does Pirsig EVER say that the MOQ is reality. He says Quality
is reality. You are missing something big here that causes you to say
all kinds of ridiculous things.

Andre:
This is Bodvar's blind-spot Steve (as you well know). He equates the MOQ with Quality and therefore with Reality. He refuses to accept that the MOQ is an idea as in Phaedrus' opening sentence of chapter 8 in LILA:'The idea that the world is composed of nothing but moral value sounds impossible at first'.

Over the years people have been telling him but he does not listen, 'we' (including Mr. Pirsig) just do not see the relevatory nature of the MOQ, Mr. Pirsig doesn't really understand his own creation, and this causes him to continue 'to say all kinds of ridiculous things'.
