Mary (or Bob) to Ron:

As we readers of Pirsig know, however, there is more to the Universe than
subjects and objects. There is Quality which is Statically exemplified by
Morals, Quality, and Values, and if you agree with Pirsig's formulation of
the Levels as Static Patterns of Value, then it follows that what is valued
by the Intellectual Level is in opposition to what Pirsig defines as valued
by the metaphysics of the MoQ.

Andre:
This is the twist that is needed to uphold Bodvar's SOL and your idea that the world consists of nothing but subjects and objects (because that is the only capacity our intellectual patterns have!!!as YOU and Bodvar claim!). The intellectual level is NOT in opposition to what Mr. Pirsig defines as the intellectual level and therefore by the metaphysics of Quality. Sad, sad, sad.

Just because something is not formally written down somewhere doesn't mean it is not experienced.

You deny ZMM. You deny LILA. You deny the LC annotations.

Problem is, as Mr. Pirsig says very, very clearly (in ZMM), how to fit in all of human experience in these two boxes named subjects and objects. You can't! And here the root expansion of rationality begins, and as I told Marsha and Bodvar: you do not appear to accept the massive job Phaedrus performed ...not only expanding our intellectual understanding of experience but putting it in an evolutionary framework that makes sense... i.e. sq sense, DQ sense... because it coincides and harmonizes with experience and our current sq levels of scientific, rational understanding...from the MOQ perspective that is!
