Completely wrong Platt. It is dumping the MOQ in YOUR intellectual level
(SOL/SOM) that is undermining it. You still do not understand the context of
Mr. Pirsig's response in annotation 132 and 133.

This is exactly right, Andre. Platt tries to interpret Pirsig's words from his
own misconception that Pirsig is, in fact, trying to clear up! Gotta love that
irony.

What's also ironic is that the same people who bemoan "papal bulls" simply lack
the honesty to take their argument to its valid opposition ground. For some
reason, it is them that need to create the appearance of Pirsig's "approval". 

The SOL is a disagreement with Pirsig. Nothing wrong with that. But to twist
and bend and wield horrible rhetoric to "prove" that is what he "meant" (if
only he weren't too ignorant to understand his own ideas) just shows who the
kids are who still need daddy's approval.
