i beg to differ. there is plenty of evidence of this
from NDEs, to channelers and mediums etc. apart from 
empirical evidence, there is unanimous agreement
amongst all indigenous cultures that death is not the
end. but maybe they are all just primitive morons
(like most americans, english and aussies).

I read a novel by Tony Hillerman where it stated the Navajo do not believe
in an afterlife.  If you do not have familiarity with Hillerman he has
written countless novels on the Southwest Native Americans and is well
respected for his knowledge of their culture.  I do not attest personally to
the truth of this claim, I just found it very interesting when I read it
because I thought all indigenous cultures believed in an afterlife also and
I thought you might have an interest in knowing about Hillerman's assertion.
I find it worthy of further investigation.
