That's why this individual vs. collective might
go on and on and on if we try to split it as a "v" or
antagonistic towards each other. This subject is
months old and Ian what you say above is why they
can't split. Any original idea such as E=mc2 is also
built on the shoulders of giants, even Newton needed
the Greeks, etc... Yes, we can say Pirsig came up
with his ideas, but without other people, Pirsig
wouldn't have his ideas to come up with. This is
pretty much a summary of how this subject has pounced
back and forth for months without having to read all
the archives.
