Craig B asked dmb:

Does a society which rewards those who should be rewarded & punishes those
who should be punished, exhibit equality or inequality?

dmb replied:
Huh? Are you saying inequality is society's way of punishing people? Are you
suggesting that economic injustice is really just an automatic sentence
imposed on those who are insufficiently productive or otherwise socially
acceptable? Or are you suggesting that equality is inconsistant with the
maintenance of a criminal justice system?

Craig re-formulated his question:

[dmb to Craig]
>Are you saying...Are you suggesting...Or are you suggesting...?

None of the above. I am asking: Does a society which rewards those who
should be rewarded & punishes those who should be punished, exhibit equality
or inequality?

Ant McWatt asks:

Why the severe editing of Dave's relative short reply here, Craig? It
doesn't help with following the conversation!

Best wishes,

Anthony
