hiya all,
well this list sure has degenerated into a slanging
match eh? where's the dialectical dance here? all i
can hear is the strains of cock-grabbing,
pseudo-intellectual gangster rap.

the moq is a device folks - a device that enables us
to see more and see more clearly. it is (obviously)
not an 'enlightenment fait accompli'. ie, just because
you think you get pirsig doesn't mean that you are
necessarily at a higher level of existence; it is more
like having a really good tool in your kit bag that
you  can use well or poorly.

now it is my guess that a lot of the problems on the
list stem from the university mindset, which is just
the same as the high scool and primary school mindset,
as they all operate on the same logic: competition,
indoctrination, judgement. this is infantile stuff.
uni is for babies: face it and deal with it and then
you can be free of it (even when you are there!) 

of course male stinking hubris is here in excess
too....here as 'out there'. you may have noticed that
the few women on the list manage to be to the point
and polite and seemingly immune to the stupid
arrogance of most males on this list. 

the degree of attachment to one's cherished 'truths'
is astonishing. why bother contributing if your mind
is already made up? i mean really what is the point if
you think you know it all already? to help others
become as wise as you perhaps? as bitter? as angry? as
reactive? as condescending?

the regulars on the list are up in the clouds and by
god they need grounding. i am tired of reading
'cloudstuff' - the stuff of the disembodied analytic
mind. it is pointless because you can say anything you
wish and verify it (or haven't you noticed?); but
write from the heart and the truth reveals itself! 

the truth is in your heart - you know it with your
whole being; it is not abstract. all higher truths are
paradoxical and to grasp them they have to be
inhabited, they have to be lived. 

so much talk of the social level when nearly all here
are still firmly ensconced there! do you really know
what it means to be free of it? free of him? - the
giant. to reveal his hand in your greed, fear, vanity
and insecurities, and hence to be free of them, of
him?

who here lives their life freely, taking their cues
only from the living world that lives in them? the
intelligent universe is smarter than your ideas or
plans. the intelligent universe is you - all you need
to do is pay attention to it, to yourself.
