Hello,
I sent this yesterday but it never showed up...sorry if it gets repeated.
Anyone seen this film and would like to discuss it in terms of MOQ?
It shows many topics that are discussed here and the director Robert Stone was making the film while Sept 11 happened and tries to show it as moral forces working in the world than just historical events. I thought it seemed like a fair film and R. Little and P. Hearst did too from what I heard so that is a good sign it is pretty balanced veiwpoint.
If it is not intelligence, not your intent to do good, what is your best defense against cult thinking ...at this moment "compassionate understanding" that this director is showing... maybe its something else for others?
"SLA (Symbionese Liberation Army) really romanticized themselves as these RobinHood figures. They never perceived themselves as terrorists at all. They really thought of themselves as guerrillas. People who do bad things generally do think of themselves in a positive light. They think that they are doing good and I think that is important to understand." Robert Stone
