     It's funny at times, especially when the haunting
caters to frustration, when people compliment me and
say how I must caring and how tremendous the job is,
and we laugh at work together when we exchange stories
like this, due to how damaged the heart can become. 
We laugh because of the praise people give, and we as
staff, at times, just think we're crazy for working
here.  We think when people say this they have no idea
what it's like.  Trust me, we are just maintaining a
society.  The problems are not being fixed, just
maintained for the next hundred miles or so.  I don't
know how many more plugs we can patch with scotch
tape.  But as you said take credit for where credit is
due, I will and thanks, I guess when I talk about the
laughter due to the haunting I'm emphasizing the
strength of this haunting.  We are maintaining, but
not fixing.  The fixing, then, to have ones spirit
survive is in how we handle this.  When I go to work
and come home.  This is the continuance of U.S.
culture.  There, at times, is this yearning to
separate work from play, but they never are separated.
 We go on living at work and at home.  When I said one
day to the girls, "We as staff live here too."  They
all began to rumble on about how we as staff don't
live there.  They, the residents live there 24-7, but
I said I live wherever I am, I am human, I have
emotions too.
