  Why is the Inuit model poor?  
   
   
  Robbie: Because if an Inuit moved out of their natural polar clime, immigrated to America, England, (or any country where Pirsig is read) adopted our diet and lifestyle, then after a generation or less they would begin dropping dead of strokes, Heart disease, Type 1 and 2 diabetes, etc. at the same rate as we American carnivores...Living in America is a prime cause of Obesity.  Fat people accummulate health problems that are well documented.
   
  I was trying to be polite. But Polar Inuits just don't apply to us.  Who among us has ever visited their lands and hunting grounds even for a two week vacation.  So applying research on them to ourselves in a pretty big stretch. I Appoligize for my abruptness...

Why is the Inuit model poor? I thought we were
just discussing meat and plant eating habits. If I
find people surviving on either one, and no research
to indicate that one is better than the other, well,
that is all I was pointing at, as Damian suggested. 
Unless you find something more worthy in determining
whether eating plants is better than meat or vice
versa I add. No big deal, is it?
