searching for common ground....

anarchism is an interesting concept as it has the
potential to unite both left and right. 

a drawback is that it is still interpreted
ideologically by and large, which is why the
situationists sought to supercede it.  the problem
with ideology is a basic SOM issue so i won't dwell on
it here. suffice it to say there is a difference
between theory and ideology.

america's most respected intellectual (apart from Bob
of course) is noam chomsky. he seems SOMitic,
unfortunately, but he thinks clearer than any SOMite i
know. he is an avowed fan of anarchism and i too see
more intellectual value in this political theory than
any other.

i don't see a need for government. to me all
governments are illegitimate, to varying degrees. i
think guy fawkes was onto something (ahead of his time
he was) good.
