If you worked where I worked you'd figure out who
gets rewards and consequences (yeah, PC is in the
placement arena, too, instead of punishments we're to
say consequences, but they're punishments). Yet, you
never know what somebody's doing behind your back, and
sometimes secert underground arrangements are made and
we break them up, but as the saying goes at work,
"they'll always get away with something", "you can't
catch everything". And the end it's their
responsibility, I can't spoon feed them their whole
life.
So, I take it slightly back. We have an idea
since we moniter them with point systems, journals,
therapy sessions, etc... thus, we have a hint
(hopefully more than a hint) who we're supervising,
but there are fakes and sneaky manipulators. We see
them too, but you've got to be near and 'on' them a
lot to make sure everything runs smoothly. If these
later are intelligient, well, those are the more
dangerous ones. Some though, are right in your face
"telling it how it is", and well, you see their true
behavior - "they're real" as they put it. So watch
who you are rewarding. They could be sneaky and
playing dumb, but actually your feeding and rewarding
a monster to keep doing what he/she has been doing.
Thanks,
SA
