      [Ian]
That's OK by me Marsha, any dialogue is better than
none...

Is it that simple Ian? If we have dialogue,
then to follow the 'versus' of this thread we would
have no/less-suicide and all/more solutions. This
would follow the morality I stated, which is a goal of
mine in meditation is quietness. With quietness I
experience all possible communication lines open.
Communication lines freed and pathing across the
terrain of open-mindedness, clarity, awareness
unimpeded; and thoughts and art will just
automatically pop-up into ones view. Social life goes
on in this quiet comfort as these 'poping-ups' are
shared and this dialogue in the quiet comfort will
have not only art shows, but book reviews, poetry
speakers, free-thinkers in grocery stores, on and on
and on... all with meditation clearing the Way. By
meditation, I'm saying the wild, trained life of
practicing quietness induced by relaxation in our
sittings and walkings. Tension arises to only
dissipate in the face of such strength that the quiet
comfort amidst white noise and other melodies
meditation encouragers.
Is this natural, non-New Age, encourager
meditation where the practices are 'just sit', 'just
walk', and 'the simple joys of work'? All actions
that require refinement and clarity. In the quiet,
thoughts are seen to arise and fall, the clarity in
these thoughts allow for the Zen art of the lone
fisherman in a boat with a lot of blank sky
overwhelming the picture or the flamboyance in other
sects of Buddhism, such as Tibetan, where color and
music fills the air. These all come and pass, and
when liberated from the mind filling the openness of
the sky for all to enjoy. This quiet comfort in
meditation encouraging jubilee where societies are
perceived, even by the well-practiced meditator, to be
societies meditating. Society meditating... Have you
ever heard of singing farmers, dancing hunters and
gathers, etc...

woods,
SA
