Platt,

I have enjoyed this exchange. It seems there is something very critical at
the heart of our disagreements but I just can't figure out what it is.
Whatever it is I hoped we could discuss it and looking back we have been at
least talking around it. We have very different ideas about what America is
all about. I seriously do not understand how you can claim we are morally
superior to all of the evil people you cite. I do not understand how you can
condemn an entire religion over the actions of a few. I do not understand
how you can justify stripping any person of their civil rights for any
reason. I do not understand how you can ignore the effect of human activity
of the climate and ecosystem of our planet. I do not understand how you can
say Pirsig supports any of this. Our conversation has consisted of me giving
long winded and detailed explanations of my position and you bouncing back
one liners.

I figure we have about run Sin Part 1 in the dirt. The conclusion is, of
course, I am right and you are wrong. Yo' Momma!

So what ever happened to Part 2?
