[Micah]
I'm short on the heating bill this month, and I thought I'd put you to the test
- Please fork over $200.00 for my heating bill. I would thank you in advance,
but since I have a right to your labor...I'll take cash or credit card.

[Arlo]
If you were truly in dire straits, there are social programs we all pay into for
you to rely on while you improve your situation. I already pay into this, and
am happy to do so, especially if my support of these social programs can help a
MOQer not freeze this winter. So, no need to single any one person out for
more, we all already have paid for the help you need. And with happiness. Go
and be warm! What a great country!

(By the way, if while you are in down times, if your children need medicine, I
already happily pay into a social program that will help them get the medicine
they need. If they need it, they will get it. And I am happy to help.)

[Steve H in one of yesterday's posts]
I think people need to realize somehow that "we're all in this
community together and if one of us falls, we should help him
back up, because we would want him to help us if we fell."

[Steve H]
Thank you Arlo for making sense. As I said already Micah, if one
falls, we help him back up. "We" means many people; we don't
designate one guy to help everybody. How do we help? Like Arlo said,
through a societal program that we already pay into. If I passed a
person on the street who was freezing, I would give them a sweater
and/or take them to a local shelter.

Regards,
Steve H
