In the same way as I "could" be offended by "quite the bullshitter",
but you qualified it with "at least sometimes"

My "crusading" remark was qualified by "almost". My whole tone is
"friendly" since as I said from my persective you say very little I'd
disagree with, and I like your way with words ...

My having "a strong view", but being "not an issue" is the key point
where you think I'm being inconsistent. You may have heard me use the
quote "strong views, lightly held" before ? I'm serious.

Your strength of feeling is in the length of the yard long e-mail
response. I'm discussing the subject only because you are. I really
would rather change this particular subject (for purely pragmatic
reasons).

As for bullshit ... well we have a thread on that already ;-)
One man's deviousness is another man's pragmatic politics.
It's the intent that counts.
