i would like to withdraw my comment about the US
having the lowest quality culture i have experienced.
this was a reaction based on a few negative
experiences i have had here, and also platt's blind
patriotism.
i can't comment on a culture without having LIVED in
it; and besides it seems more similar than different
to the UK and australia, the places where i have
actually lived longest.
