Hi Platt,

I was doing intaglio printmaking, before I started painting.  The 
prints were of the disturbing variety.  After my husband died, my 
first print was really frightening.  It really reflected a hideous 
fear.  In 1998, I was lucky enough to spend  6 weeks in Italy looking 
at the art.  I started painting when I got home. I didn't want to be 
an 'artist', I wanted to make magic by painting, with no ego.  I am a 
student, not a master.

What is the history of Platt and painting?
