Case,
loved the ole' "burn 'em out with paradox" bit used in the old star trek
series.
Cpt. Kirk: "everything that man says is a lie"
Harry Mud: "I am lying"
Super AI computer of the future: " if everything he says is a lie,
stating he is lying is
telling the truth but he can't tell the
truth because
eveything he sayssss..kkccc! Does not
compute! Sizzle..ss
Planet is free from the intellect of the AI super computer...

One would imagine that attempting to build a model of the mind would
yield A greater Understanding of our own, but they allways seem to want
to exterminate The human race after a bit...I hate when that happens.

Yeah, AIs are a bitch but you know in the long run they are easier to
deal with than the "psychic entities" that Ham puts so much stock in.
Teaching an AI to play tic-tac-toe or asking it "why does the porridge
bird lays its eggs in the air" or any sort of paradox just freaks them
out.
Psychic entities are so much messier to deal with. You have to collect
exotic herbs and spices or memorize incantations or mold silver
bullets...
Then there is all that ectoplasmic goo to clean up afterwards.
