[MD] mystical awareness and intellectual explantions

I'm not familiar with the Buddha's arguments or how they were used in the
manner you describe.

My sense of mystical awareness is that it's different from non-mystical
awareness in the way presence is different from numbness.  It doesn't matter
where you are or what you're doing.  But some things are better than others at
leading a person to awareness and teaching a person how to be present.
I'm sure ntellectual explanations are in there somewhere.  I just don't see them
at the top of the list.
 
I've heard it said that like leads to like.  This sounds right to me.  The experience
of mystical awareness is what leads to the experience of mystical awareness.
Sometimes mystical experiences are made out to be more than they are.  But
more often they're made to seem so much less than they are.

I notice you sign your posts "Love."  Now there's a word that points to mystical
awareness.
