Hi Platt, I think I could completely agree with that sentiment.

If however, like you were, I was aiming that at Arlo, I might use the
word "misunderstanding" rather than "hypocrisy" since most people
would find your choice of word pejorative (as you of course intended).

Interestingly "hypocrisy" has quite different connotations in business
management (I often quote Brunsson) where it is really an indication
that our habitual "for or against" binary-argumentation /
decision-making-justification style almost demands what could easily
be called hypocrisy. Better to understand it than deny it.

The reason I try hard to shy away from such gain-saying debates, in fact.
Having a private language is proving difficult though, as someone predicted ;-)
