"Purpose" is an illusion. To say "we exist so that we can exist" is simply a
tautology. It's fine, and I accept it, but find it offers nothing at all.

So you're saying your "purpose" in writing to this board is "to live"? You
better hope the Internet never crashes!

Which, of course, reveals the fragility of the statement "the purpose of life is
to live". Namely, its doomed to failure. Our fundamental "purpose" is one we
can ultimately never achieve. How sad.
