Platt,
God exists without man in all religions I know of, simply exchange god for
reality in my previous statement - I thought that was understood. God is
reality for the religious.
They both assume a primary reality, without man.

Scientific community, yes. But the religious community assumes reality
exists
without man? On what basis do you make that assertion? I don't deny it. I
just
don't recall religion having much at all to say about man's relation to
reality.
