Absolutely. In his book, "Machine Beauty," David Gerlernter writes:
"Strangely enough, beauty is also a truth-and-rightness meter, and science
and technology could not exist without it. It's tuning fork hum guides
scientists toward truth and technologists toward stronger and more useful
machines. It leads the way forward."
All one has to do is consider the beauty of the Golden Gate Bridge to understand
how "DQ is revealed in unified relationships."
Or as one 8th grader wrote at the bottom of her Halloween story, "Beautifully
done by Deborah Craig."
Thanks, Mark. Another fine insight into the meaning of the MOQ. The message
is, "To move evolution forward, strive for beauty in everything you do, whether
seeking a mathematical explanation of dark energy or changing spark plugs on a
motorcycle."
