When you've had an epiphany you don't look for "proofs", you look for
reasons.

You've arrived at the conclusion that existence is illusional, as far as
Oneness is concerned.  But existence is the world we live in.  Illusional as
it may be, it's our reality.

You have also identified the primary constiuents of your existence:
Awareness and Objective reality.  Now, unless that reality (existence)
excludes YOU (your awareness), its duality is best defined as Subjective
Awareness and Objective Otherness, or simply Awareness/Otherness.  One
cannot exist without the other.  So existence is a mutually exclusive but
do-dependent duality which is technically a "dichotomy".

Your next step is to ask: How does a dichotomy come from Oneness?
Something has to be the cause of "difference", and it has to be the absolute
source (Essence).  Now, I have been admonished for using Essence instead of
Pirsig's DQ "if there are the same", but since I'm not at all persuaded that
they are the same, I'll call it the Source (as a name) or Oneness (as a
description).  The Source is absolute "IS-ness"; nothing lies outside of it;
indeed, the Source has no "outside" and no differentiation "inside".  But
the Source is also absolute Potentiality -- the power to actualize the
appearance of otherness.

My theory is that the Source is "negational", that inasmuch as it is the
fullness of all that is, it actualizes by negating itself.  This analogous
to the mountain climber who has ascended to the peak and can only proceed by
descending the mountain.  I also theorize that whatever the Source negates
must also be absolute.  Because Nothingness is the antithesis of absoute
IS-ness, it is Nothingness that is negated.  This separates Awareness from
the Source to create the dichotomy of existence.
