You say that "..language is deeply embedded in intellectualized
thought" but end with asking if "...intellect is embedded in
language". Those two seem to neutralize each other, but this may
illustrate language's voyage up through the levels.
I see the biological level as its "mute" origin. By this cryptic
remark I mean that the neural concentration called brain
facilitated storage and retrieval of experience (RAM) that enabled
anticipation of future experiences. This ability may be called
"intelligence" (how animals perceive reality is difficult to say, but
it's as sense experience that's for sure).
With the human cortex brain the said capability increased and
IMO became the stepping stone to the social level and when
language proper arrived the said bio-intelligence became
language-borne, i.e. humans perceived and memorized
experience by language. However, language was not considered
abstract or that the silent language were "thoughts" or took place
in "mind", or anything of intellect's S/Os.
An aside. When the social level was top notch it may be called a
magical reality, as said it did not see (silent) language as
thoughts or words as abstractions, rather langue was a powerful
means to invoke and sway the forces/gods by rituals of all kinds.
A remnant of this is to-day's social patterns of religions and their
rituals and prayers.
Finally to "intellect embedded in language" (that I would have
liked turned round). When the intellectual level was achieved the
original biological intelligence - turned language-intelligence at
the social level - was now adopted by intellect and here language
- that which the social level hadn't seen different from their world
- became thoughts or abstract words that the subject applied to
an objective world out there.
So no wonder that you - when viewing things from intellect -
conclude:
The fact that I myself, tend to reason and intellectualize in
english In my head, has lead me to theorize that language
is deeply embedded in intellectualized thought,
Language surely ended up at the intellectual level as
"intellectualized thought"

This is another interesting point. When the social level and
language entered, it was seen "knowledge" (of death also) and I
too believe that this was what became the Fall Myth.
"After language to name came language to intellectualize" is just
spot on and an excellent compressed form of my long-winded
explanation above.
