1) You cannot prove that the world will exist when you cease to observe it.
2) If you cannot prove something exists under particular conditions, it doesn't
exist under those conditions.
3) :. The world only exists if you are here to observe it.
However, 2) is false.

Thanks for the logic check, Craig. But I don't think this was my argument. Maybe
this.
1) You cannot prove that the world will CEASE TO exist when you cease to observe
it.
2) If you cannot prove something WILL NOT exist under particular conditions, it
WILL exist under those conditions.
3) :. The world exists whether you are here to observe it or not.
I also offered this.
1) The world has been around for billions of years before me.
2) Other things begin and end and "reality" continues.
3) :. It's a safe bet that the world will not cease to exist when I die.
Or perhaps.
3) :. It's a safer bet that the world will not cease to exist when I die as that
the world will cease to exist when I die.
Of course, mayhap that I am but a brain-in-a-vat, and you are all nothing but
figments of my imagination. (Can you or Micah prove otherwise?). Perhaps that
is how I should lead my life... everything is just a figment of my vat-brain's
imagination. I mean, you can't prove otherwise, so why not?
