 [dmb]
This is why I like the big bang analogy. Prior to that explosion there
was no space. Space and time is a product of the explosion, of the
evolutionary process on the inorganic level.

I believe due to reasonable rational deduction that I posted in the
"porkchops and applesauce"
Thread that it is allways in a state of existence no beginning no end
nothing else logically makes
Sense. things evolve, degrade get chewed up into in black holes at the
center of galaxies
And get spit out in the form of rays and waves to collect, reform and
evolve once again
That's why half the scientists observe the universe is expanding looking
one way and contracting
Looking another. Who knows how the universe flows. the galaxy rotates
once about every 250million
Years our galaxy in on a collision course with another galaxy andromeda.
The big bang is like the
Concept of zero it implies an absolute which appears not to exist. Or it
would be that way now
All on the head of a pin. Which is reasonable to assume it is not.

Ron Kulp:
Here's a crazy question: whats space unfolding in?

dmb says:
Well, that's just it. What is outside of everything? What is beyond the
edge of the universe? These are the crazy questions generated when a
model of everything construes the universe as being situated in
something larger.
This is why I like the big bang analogy. Prior to that explosion there
was no space. Space and time is a product of the explosion, of the
evolutionary process on the inorganic level. Maybe this is a basic
version of the same differentiation process that occurs on all levels.
In any case, the idea is simply that evolution is an expansion of
reality and it doesn't matter if we're talking about literal space as
the physicists know it or the intersubjective cultural space as
intellectuals know it.
