Hello dmb.
 
I've been there.  I went so far I had rationality on a pedestal.  If you've ever
experienced transformation you'll know what I mean when I say that what I came
to realize was impossible for me to know prior to the experience.
 
The intellect-over-emotions approach to life can be made to work of course.  I
made it work for decades.  And there's the clue.  When something has to be
made to work it's a clear signal that something is wrong.
 
We don't make Quality.  Quality makes us.  The best we can do is simply
experience it.
