I sympathise with your suprise at Bo seeing the oriental mysticism as
an affliction ... an odd choice of words, but anyway, if i could
approach this "intellect" confusion from the other end ....

I see a definitional problem.
Your closing sentences ..

including syntax and intellect that is built around it."

I would use "Good-Old-Fashioned Intellect" where you used the word
intellect. Do you see MoQ level 4 limited to this kind of intellect ?

Or, could you accept someone like me referring to Level 4 Intellect as
an "Enlightened form of extended intellect" extended to include ...
the missing perspectives ... quality in a word.

ie I'd say GOF-Intellect / SOM-Intellect is just one static pattern
within Level 4, rather than its sum total ?
