Hi Ian, yes, it is sometimes a bit frustrating not to get an immediate
response to previous ideas/interpretations forwarded. For my part, this is
not because I am not interested or that I do not have any ideas. I really
enjoy this forum because( as opposed to a round table discussion where in
mid-sentence one can be shot down) one can let the other person's ideas sink
in and formulate a response worthy of reply. So. nr 1, I am gratified to
hear that you appreciate my input ( this may sound ingratiating but is not
meant to) and 2, the discussion at this forum is really very overwhelming
and 'pacey' (which is great but brings about situations you react to) and 3,
I am very busy here at present doing loads of things on top of preparing for
an end to my 3-year stay here in China. None of these are excuses but I hope
you understand.
