[MD] The SOM/MOQ discrepancy.

Arlo,
I guess one of the questions I have with the
Exodus quote, is through the lens of MOQ.
If, as we see happening in this thousands of
year old quote, there is a jew who put intellectual
function at the service of the social and rallies
support in the form of a commandment to be socially
enforced. What was it that was being reacted against?
The alternative was a 'lesser god'. Putting the
biological at the service of the physical would be a
less moral action. Worshiping golden calf and sacrificing
babies to the statue, hmmmmlow quality.
Unfortunately many tend to get stuck in static practices
that were one time dynamic, but ossify over time to
the point of irrelevance or malignancy...
Even for us, the most dynamic insight today is tomorrow's
hidebound inflexible static anchor.
thanks--mel
