hi there all you fruity bats....let's play some more.
global warming...okay let's take a middle road - like k.rudd has (k.rudd for the americans among you is the aussie pm. i know i know - life outside the US - who cares!)

k.rudd has adopted a goal of 5% decrease in emissions by 2020. which is ACCORDING TO THE GREAT MAJORITY OF THE GLOBAL SCIENTIFIC ESTABLISHMENT (slightly important point there kids) fucking suicidal.

okay so maybe they are all wrong - who knows? it's possible. maybe the whole warming thang *is* a scam. maybe everything is just fine and we can continue as normal.....

the world scientists' global warning to humanity was over 15 years ago now and it was pretty much universal condemnation of current energy/economic policy as the main threat to continued human existence. nothing much has changed. 

so maybe platt is right. and maybe i'll trust the scientific community. hey your pick: platt or science. can't have both.
