what the fuck are you on about platt?
what cultural values are supreme? those of the dollar and the gun it seems. at least by inference.

what we are seeing, and have been seeing for a while (now greatly accelerated), is the disintegration of values. broch's famous book 'the sleepwalkers' was a novelistic inquiry into this and was written 70 years ago or so. it complements pirsig well.

this disintegration is the end of western culture. multiculturalism fills the void of an absent western culture. how can you talk about cultural supremacy when you don't have a culture platt? a bit like penis envy perhaps.

the western culture has been all but killed, over the last 400-500 years especially. the witches were the shamanic link that was severed at the behest of cultural/moral supremacists...just like platt!

since then it has been a slow erosion of folkwisdom and earthknowledge, and in its stead we have a frankensteinian culture - the cultural monster that is the masculine without the feminine (mary shelley knew her shit)

but the disintegration is nearly total now which means that a new re-integration is already well underway. this re-integration is something very new - a true global culture. this earth culture will be a beautiful and synergistic marriage of all the world's cultures, which  all of course emerge from the monomyth. they are all essentially complementary.

so rather than talk about the supremacy of a hollow western culture let's celebrate the unification of the world's peoples on this new years day. for it is this that is our only hope and our common destiny. 

like john said - war is over, if you want it. 
it seems platt is rather irrationally attached to war.

Of course, those who believe in the principles of the MOQ saw long ago that 
multiculturism as preached by left-wing academic elites was a scam:
