How is my notion of the Q-levels "trite"? I feel mildly insulted :-P My
definition of the intellectual level is "The Quest for Knowledge" and
certainly not thinking. More like "thinking for thinking's sake" . You
confuse me with your SOL-enemies. I rather think that the notion of a
separate "I" has to come about before the Quest for Knowledge can be born
completely, and you and I actually have more in common in terms of
identifying the levels than not. I think.
And the rest of what your saying.... Yeah? So? All I was saying was that the
things we hold dear, like democracy and stuff like that, though they may
work as social institutions that serve the intellectual level (I know that)
I was saying that they can easily be transformed into just social level
stuff, and they will if they become just empty words and institutions and
the actual intellectual values that made them possible is forgotten - then
the social level has a hold aging. And I actually think that our society
(yes our countries as well) is fare more social level driven than
intellectually driven. Mainly that has to do with money though.
Cash is King. You know.
Respectfully
Chris
