I'm with you Gav, I've always like mangoes.
I don't know what goes on in the halls of power and don't know if I really
fancy having that information, honestly.
Here are the options though: the most powerful country in the world is
either too stupid and mismanaged to stop a bunch of rag-tag bandits
from stealing a plane and driving it into a building in the middle of a
major city... or they let it happen.
This was no tragic accident... but regardless.

That was always one wonderment of mine.  I never did quite 
understand how the planes were able to travel that far off-course 
without U.S. military planes intercepting them or even getting off the ground 
to go near them.  Not enough is mentioned about that in the mainstream.
