There are types of meditation where one becomes
aware of one's internal processes. But I'm quite
sure that in becoming aware, one transforms the
process. Is that what you mean?

I do not hear any in this forum complaining about
their lives. No one's talking about needing to
make big changes or adjustments. No one seems to
suspect that they are not in total control of their thinking experience.

I agree that thinking includes pictures, sounds,
feelings, etc. For a couple of years I had a
daily meditation practice. It didn't take long
before I could watch my thoughts coming and
going. How one thought linked to another was
quite remarkable, and often extremely
humorous. After that, unless confronted with a
problem or a puzzle, I do not take my thoughts too seriously.

What can you say about your thinking
experience? Have any insights you wish to offer?

Exactly!

The opposite of a trivial truth is plainly false.
The opposite of a great truth is also true."
